Hello All!


I am starting this blog along with my new diet program! After running Division 1 track and field for 2 years, I tore my hamstring during a spring practice, and left the sport to focus on school (and lowering my stress level). Now, after an agonizingly long recovery, I am finally able to start getting back into an exercise routine, but need to focus on my food intake more seriously (I got pretty lazy because I didn't have a coach watching me run laps in a sports bra every day...talk about PRESSURE).

It has been a serious challenge for me to re-define myself without track, because it has always been a major part of my identity. Before my injury, I had never "quit" anything in my life, so my confidence and motivation suffered quite a bit.
Thankfully, I got a Nutribullet for Christmas, and am VERY excited to put it to use! I am not going to do a full-on juice diet, at least once a day I will incorporate animal protein along with the shakes. I will post the recipes I use, along with workouts!
